Part 1: Final products
A selection of standard SKUs and custom projects I worked on during seven years at lighting and furniture manufacturer Roll & Hill.
Part 2: Product development and post-ramp validation
Content generated primarily in Asia and the US: machine and casting shops, LED clean rooms, engineering validation, etc. Note: If using a VPN, videos may not play.

Two minute video I made to give colleagues at Roll & Hill a look at the factory floor. This contract manufacturer had 3,000+ local employees dispersed at facilities in and around Guangzhou. Parts being made in the video belong to the collections Agnes, Orbit, Cache and Cora.
The components being machined from the 10 to 50 second marks in the video were previously produced in the United States. After onboarding this partner for turnkey products, we sampled a few of our more expensive machined components with them. This was out of their typical purview, yet they accommodated us. Prototypes and production samples were superb, and I negotiated part pricing that saved us $80,000 the first year alone.
Part 3: Mito Labs
Several years ago, a few industry colleagues and I founded an agtech venture that was selected for the Futureworks Incubator and sponsored by NYDesigns. We set out to design category-defining precision lighting systems for indoor farming, combining industrial-grade IoT controls with cutting-edge PCB and LED technology, giving growers reliable tools to boost yields and reduce costs. We didn't push it to market, but the experience was a creative and collaborative highlight.
